We use one cookie, to keep you signed in. Nothing else. No ad trackers, no analytics cookies, and no consent banner needed for a cookie that only keeps your own session open.
This overview helps you navigate the policy. The full sections below apply.01What a cookie is, and what we use instead where we can
A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to store, then sends back on later requests. Sites use cookies to stay signed in, remember a choice, or track behaviour across visits.
FORCALABS uses a cookie only where a browser requires one, to keep you signed in. A preference that does not need to leave your browser is kept in local storage instead, which this page also covers since it is still information stored on your device.
02The cookie that keeps the product working
This is set automatically because signing in would not otherwise work. It is not optional, and this site has no separate consent banner for it because none is required under major cookie frameworks for a cookie strictly necessary to deliver a service the visitor explicitly requested, such as staying signed in.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie (name starts with sb-) | Keeps you signed in and identifies your account on each request. Set by our authentication provider, Supabase. | Up to 400 days, or until you sign out |
03Local storage: not a cookie, but still on your device
One interface preference, whether the workspace sidebar is collapsed, is remembered using your browser’s local storage rather than a cookie. Local storage is not sent back to our servers on every request the way a cookie is; it simply lets your browser recall the setting the next time you open the app on the same device.
04What we do not use
FORCALABS does not run advertising pixels, third-party ad-tracking cookies, or a cross-site analytics cookie today. If that changes, we will add a consent choice before any non-essential cookie is set, not after, and update this page to describe it.
05Cookies set by other services you interact with
Buying credits happens through Polar, our payment processor, on their own checkout page; Polar may set its own cookies there under its own policy. Those cookies are not under our control and are not visible to FORCALABS.
06Clearing or blocking cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage for this site at any time from your browser’s settings. Blocking the session cookie will sign you out and prevent sign-in until it is allowed again; the sidebar preference can be cleared with no effect on your account.
See the Privacy Policy for how account and workspace data is handled beyond cookies.
