Refund Policy
Clear rules for refunds, cancellations, and credit usage.
Important: This policy is written to be simple and unambiguous. Refunds are available only when requested within 14 days of payment and only if no credits were used in the subscription period you are requesting a refund for.
1. Definitions
1.1 “Credits”
“Credits” are the usage units included in your plan that are consumed when you run processing actions inside ForcaLabs (for example, generating or processing an episode, transcription, or any other credit-consuming tool).
1.2 “Used credits” (what counts as usage)
A credit is considered “used” when it is deducted from your account for any processing attempt, including:
- Successful processing that delivers outputs
- Processing attempts that start and consume credits
- Any action that reduces your credit balance
1.3 “Subscription period”
The “subscription period” is the billing cycle covered by a payment (monthly or annual, depending on your plan).
2. Refund Policy
2.1 Refund eligibility
You are eligible for a refund only if all of the following are true:
- Requested within 14 days: Your refund request is submitted within 14 days of the payment date.
- No usage: No credits were used in the subscription period you are requesting a refund for.
2.2 Not refundable once any credits are used
If any credits were used in the subscription period you are requesting a refund for, you are not eligible for a refund. This includes minimal usage (for example, 1 credit).
2.3 What we do not refund
- Refund requests submitted after the 14-day window
- Any subscription period where credits were used
- Fees, taxes, or currency conversion costs charged by banks/payment providers.
2.4 How to request a refund
Email hello@forcalabs.com with the details below. Providing complete information helps us resolve faster.
- Your ForcaLabs account email
- Payment date (or invoice/receipt reference)
- Your plan name (monthly/annual)
- A short reason (optional)
2.5 Refund method & processing time
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
- We typically respond within 1–2 business days.
- After approval, refunds may take additional time to appear depending on your bank or card provider.
3. Cancellations & Plan Changes
3.1 Cancellation timing
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation does not take effect immediately — it takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You keep access until the cycle ends.
3.2 Downgrades
If you downgrade, the downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle (the start of the next cycle on the lower plan).
3.3 Unused credits on cancellation/downgrade
When your cancellation or downgrade takes effect at the end of the billing cycle, you will lose any unused credits. Please plan to use credits before the cycle ends if you want to receive their value.
4. Payment Attempts After Cancelling
In some cases, you may still see a payment attempt after cancelling if the next billing cycle had already begun processing at the time you cancelled. Because cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, your subscription remains active until that cycle ends.

5. Credits & System Errors
5.1 Failed processing due to our system error
If a processing attempt fails due to a confirmed system error on our end, we may restore the credit(s) used for that attempt. This is a credit adjustment (not a monetary refund) and is evaluated case-by-case based on logs.
5.2 How to report a suspected incorrect deduction
Email hello@forcalabs.com with your account email and any relevant details (for example, the episode/job ID). We’ll investigate and restore credits if the issue is confirmed.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect product, billing, or legal changes. Updates will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of ForcaLabs after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
